Grant School Honors Veterans

The Grant School community participated in honoring our nation’s veterans in honor of Veteran’s Day this November. Students and families were encouraged to donate a dollar in the name of a veteran or just to support veterans in general. We had over 50 families participate and the money collected will be used to purchase tuna and peanut butter for the VFW. The following military branches were represented when making donations: The United States Army, Army National Guard, United States Navy, The Air Force, The Marines and the United States Coast Guard. Flags for each donation are on display in front of Grant School to show our gratitude.
